About Seb Nomad Soul
SOME BACKGROUND
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing. While continuously developing techniques and styles I also experimented with other artforms outside the 2d borders. I attended the AKI academy of Arts in the Netherlands and graduated by building big installations wherein paintings came alive by projecting video and digital-animation on and through them.
My focus on themes shifted from the outside world to the inner realms, always trying to visualise emotions and visions into artforms matching the themes. Wether it be painted bird-feathers, 3d objects or songs, with a sharp eye for detail and composition I put in great effort to the perfection of a work.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I love to travel, the outside world as well as the inner realms. Travelling the borders of consciousness has shown me unspeakable depth and vastness. These visions are so profound that I have to reference them in my work. Although I realise that this ever developing stream of creation is impossible to lay down in any form or medium, I feel it as some kind of purpose to keep trying to translate this consciousness into art.
