HANddRUM making

Have you ever wondered how it would be to build your own handdrum (sometimes called Shamandrum)? The answer to that may be closer than you'd expect!

In a beautiful setting of my atelier and guided by me, it is possible!

Creation, nature and sound all come together in these energetic workshops. You will be working with natural materials, in harmony with nature. Fun, tranquillity, sturdy work (and sometimes blisters...) are keywords describing the general atmosphere of workshops.

DATES AND COSTS
Dates for the workshop dates we will pick together!

It is always 1 full day and a half day with at least a week in between them (this is necessary for the process)

The workshop costs: $265,- and this includes:

- All materials for the drum, drumstick and decoration

- Welcome with coffee, tea and pie

- A luxury lunch at day 1 (all allergies can be attended)

- unlimited coffee, thee, drinks and snacks during the workshops

- intensive personal guidance

- A lot of fun and satisfaction

THE WORKSHOP IN SHORT

Usually the workshop days are as follows:

After coffee or tea you start with selecting the materials for your drum. With a small ritual for thankfulness and connecting we start the work. After the lunch we continue working on the drum and we will not stop sooner than when it hangs to dry. You might even have started making your drumstick.

Day two will, after a hearty welcome, pick up where you stopped at day one. Maybe you will shave your drum, you will make your drumstick and you might decorate both. The day ends with a small drum-session to discover the joy of your own drum. In the process of the days you will get a lot of information about using and caring for your drum.
